Sunday Night Report: If I’m Enjoying Myself… I Dream A Lot?

Hi guys. Not that I’m here to write anything important, but as Tsuda in Seitokai Yakuindomo would have said:

“If I were a writer I could make hell a lot of money…” –Kaineng

Yesh. I had a wonderful and long weekend. Cya guys next Wednesday. (Audience: Eh? Entertainment News leh?) Wednesday perhaps? I scared my mood gone off by Wednesday, or actually tomorrow? Just being in a parade sucks huh…

Monday Afternoon Report: The Haze in Singapore

Well since I have an opinion, I might as well say it here. And also the many things that are affected because of the recent haze due to irresponsible farmers burning crops in Indonesia as cheaper means sent the smoke flying west followed by a unlucky south wind that ended making a little red dot blinded in a haze of PSI readings up to 400 unhealthy just a few days ago. Well, that pretty much sums up everything. How was it? (Audience: Wonderful. Have no idea why you would fail in the General Paper.) (Hmm I wonder too…)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION (I noticed doing in points makes it easier to me to write and you to understand!)
About a week ago (yesh it has been already) Singapore sees a sudden haze enveloping the skies of this small city-state (as how the papers call our country), which sent PSI (Pollution Standards Index) readings sky high, reaching 401 on Friday noon, twice the worst they saw since 1996, or is it 1997? Oh whatever. Anyways, it’s bad. And long-term exposure to such a haze is bad for health (need I explain this anyway?), so makes people stop activities and avoid the outdoors.

IMPLICATIONS
Well, there are many. In “The New Paper” (Local newspaper name, people. If you don’t know means you don’t even bother reading FREE newspapers.) reactions have been seen at first is prevention. People start to comb all pharmacies and stores which sell effective masks like the N95, famous for its appearance from the SARS incident in 2003. Prices of masks have thus been high, with stores selling twice the price and other people selling at blackmail prices. Also, this has restricted the outdoor activities of people. Since it’s starting of peak PSI numbers on Tuesday, parade rehearsals have been called off (SAF Day Parade, I heard also NDP) and more focused on wet weather indoor rehearsals (which I’m still in it, no choice). Yesh, even my meals were done indoors that day, haha. Last Friday’s biathlon have also been cancelled (I’m not inside so doesn’t matter) and we have a half day off despite the cancellation of the event. The battalion have also decided on cancelling the Formation Run in Marina Barrage today, which is why I’m here. Haha. *woots*

At home, this weekend was spent mostly… indoors. And not only indoors, indoors with air-con on. Like now. Haha. No, not now. I explain to you guys why later. Over the weekend just below my block no one is seen at the nearby playground, nor on the streets when I go home frequently from camp. Seriously, man. People are SCAAAARED.

THE SITUATION NOW
As we can see from the recent PSI readings have dropped close to healthy standards, more people are seen out of buildings already. (Not me, you wish) Personally I’m not using the air-con anymore despite the heat, because… there’s no haze. So why bother? The cold air makes my hands sweaty, and my knees don’t like the cold. At least for now, we can safely say… we’re safe? Do you guys even know why it’s like that now? Yesh, there suddenly comes a northern wind just yesterday which helped clear the air above my homeland…

NOW WHAT?
Well we shall see, then. I hope to only do the wet weather program for SAF Day Parade (Yesh I’m in it up to here *points at neck*), and avoid another week’s physical activities, but from the looks of it… Nah maybe not. But I could be wrong, haha. So looking at the government’s point of view, observing the situation seems to deem fit. Really, the f****ing gahmen sent out the N95 masks so late until the smoke clear off liao then give expensive masks to the poor? Seriously.

Cya guys then, until next time… I should be talking about my NEW PACKAGE!!! *ding dong* Oops, I got to answer the door~

[P.S.: That was a fluke. The real one supposedly comes at Wednesday. Or Thursday. Or Friday, anytime within this week. I’m only just guessing…]

[P.P.S.: *pant* I’m tired. I need a nap. WHERE THE HECK IS THE AIR-CON REMOTE?]

Monday Afternoon Report: For Klassic Note 5th Anniversary…

Hi guys. I’ll be updating her more frequently these days because… it’s been five years, huh. YESH! It’s been five years since I started listening to Japanese songs, really. Looking back at those days… I have so much to remember them by. The great songs, the not-so-good, the disappointing, and the ridiculous. All is in my list of… what’s the number? *takes script* All in my list of 892 songs (excluding f***ing Korean songs and dialect songs which… you guys wouldn’t want to hear?) are the many memories I share with myself, and you guys too. The Song of the day plan is one of the ways you guys know what’s hot and what’s not.

AWARDS
This time I have decided on the method of doing this instead of just giving prizes and needing to choose like five songs from the 800+ songs: A song competition! Yeah! I randomly choose a list of 64 songs (because it’s easy to eliminate) that I eliminate and choose the best among the best, which I will share a few with you guys every week starting next month. Look forward to it, ne! (Audience pukes) Oi.

TOP SINGLES AND ALBUMS
For this I will set the charts up by ranking up the top singles and albums that I possess (of course, if it’s good it should be on my shelf liao), and try to picturesque it so you guys can get more info as to how good it is and how to get them. Really, if you don’t know how please contact me at ********. Thanks. Haha.

COMPILATIONS
Ah this is the important part. Celebrating Klassic Note Song Awards 5th Anniversary, I’m releasing (well not really, since I don’t want to burn 20cent cheap CDs anyway):

  • Three Song Awards Compilations (which feature three editions, just like how the Japanese do it)
  • Two Klassic Note Special Compilations (namely Emotionalist and Energist, more news to come)
  • Seven 2012-Edition KN Collection Compilations (artists that I love, and I’ve done this last year already)
  • And up to FIFTEEN Song Awards Yearly Compilations (namely Gold “Top 10”, Silver “Sidetrack”, Bronze “Artists’ Contributions”)

Hell yeah. This is going to make it a heck of a celebration. Actually I have more ideas for these compilations, but I’m keeping it seeing the number of compilations I need to do already… More details to be revealed soon, don’t worry.

Above all these the official webpage for this “Anniversary” thing is going to be at Webs.com (not here of course due to many reasons) revealing all the above things I mention. And I’m finding another reliable way to NOT upload songs and yet able to let you guys hear the songs I recommend. Yeah. To warp this up:

”お楽しみに!”

Next up: Me? Talking about the haze? Okay…

Monday Afternoon Report: Entertainment News Weekly

Hi guys. You didn’t see wrongly; It’s a Monday I’m living OUTSIDE camp now. So, since that I have so much time due to the haze recently (it has cleared up liao wor, should’ve pissed those organisers already) I might as well do everything now.

ANIME
RDG: I almost forgot to watch it, so did it along with the other two shows yesterday. It has reached its last episode already, and I can surely say it ended quite reasonably, though not wonderfully. Izumiko then found out that she was actually the new generation Red Data Girl, and the previous one obviously said she found her last “vessel” to be her successor? Yeah, something like that. I guess 12 episodes isn’t enough to explain more, huh. Well, Takayanagi the dog sure made this episode interesting…
Oreimo: Hmm another episode of Kyousuke enjoying himself? And finally Ayase said her words of wanting a piece of the main guy, just like every other girl in this show. I finally now know I’m watching a dating simulation anime instead of a otaku-knowledge show liao… You guys heard about the worldwide simulcast? Unfortunately for me in Singapore watching it means I must have a Starhub cable TV system… I think?
Shingeki no Kyojin: This episode is great, I think, personally. The start to some great action, and it was wonderful to see the soldiers fly around and killing titans (or be killed by, haha). Armin hit the jackpot of waking Eren up to explore the world instead of taking revenge for his mother which clearly is in his dream scene, (Seriously? He still has time to sleep? That could only happen for the main character, huh…) which is good news. On the other hand, things are looking up, as people start to believe in the absurd assumption that transforming titans can save the humans from the threat of titans. Well, halfway there, another half to go. And next week should kick start the release of new opening and ending themes from Linked Horizon (again) and cinema staff (just take them as another random rock band in Japan?), which is going to be good to look forward to, wherever the show goes. No, the show is good. It’s getting better, actually… This week also is the date for releasing their superb soundtrack with songs and music sure to make me hyped for watching the show. Yeah.

SHOWS
MythBusters: Jamie and Adam traverse the canyons with only duct tape and bubble wrap. They’ve proven you can abseil yourself down a cliff, make yourself a boat to coast the rushing waters, and pretty much camp outside the wild. Well, clearly we can see Jamie’s much more survival-knowledgeable than Adam, yes? Adam’s just being camera-friendly….
CrazyGod: A competition-like ending to 苏乞儿,西游记 is next! That white cloud is so doing the pig role…

MANGA
BLEACH: I noticed I didn’t cover this the previous time, but it seems that Ichigo has gotten back his zanpakuto, and Namaiya, like a wholesale market owner gives a “forge-1-get-1” offer, and now Ichigo ALSO has dual swords, like Kyoraku, Ukitake and Hisagi. Really man. But let’s hope he gets back in the fight. At the time lapse they’re moving, Soul Society should be a piece of flat land by now…
Kuroshitsuji: Finally after waiting for a month we get the conclusion to the mystery of Derek, the victim that Ciel and Sebastian were tasked to find. And it seems to be seriously surprising. You guys guessed the “that was a funny joke” part when they were revealing the principal? Welcome to the Undertaker fan club then, haha. And yesh, why the hell zombies again? Poor things… let’s see how Sebastian takes it next chapter; This is going to be interesting…

MUSIC (I almost forgot, haha)
This week… yesh. *cheering* Mi-na-ko, Mi-na-ko… (Audience: Seriously? We know liao lah…) Okay. *ahem* This week’s the release of MIna-chan’s new single “Prism”, and both songs are surprisingly good, without any extra verses before the last chorus, which is good news, since I don’t want to be disappointed due to my pre-ordering weeks ago, haha. Also is the release of the first two Oreimo Ending Songs (which I didn’t mention above, sorry), which are… very Anime-style as you guys would have expected. Also just heard this week’s release, one of them lah. ClariS’ “SECOND STORY” album is… not very satisfactory, as I try to search for a song to remember this album by. Sambomaster’s single is definitely expected to come late, so I may end up having to do CD ripping of my OWN stock in order to meet the quota for the month. (Audience: What? There’s a quota you have to meet?) Seriously didn’t want to rip my own CDs, so… please upload people? Yes…

Hi guys, welcome back. If you have been only reading the first and last paragraph and getting a text-to-speech software to read the rest you will only understand… 10% of the content. Yeah. So please take a read, ok? Lazy people…

Next up: The Official Announcement for Klassic Note’s 5th Anniversary plans have been decided!!by me!)

[P.S.: Oh and forgot to say, that just yesterday I tried to waste about 40 SGD on purchasing two singles… from TAIWAN! OMG! It works like CDJapan, but I wonder if it would even arrive here. If it does, I now know of a new avenue to getting Chinese release much earlier than it comes to Singapore! Three cheers for my success!]

Saturday Afternoon Report: Profile Report – Ikimono-gakari

Hi guys. Just saw the latest PV of Ikimono-gakari “Egao”, shows a lot of faces of random people, smiling. Which is the main point of the song anyway. I just don’t get why it becomes the theme song of the latest Pokemon movie. Never mind that, it is THEM I’m more interested in. If you guys still don’t get their profiles by now (if you have been listening to them as long as I do), then it’s a good time to do a refresher:

Also, this PV has given me a vast database of Japanese names, which I no doubt would use it in APoL somehow or another, haha. No, not that I have any news about Chapter 6 yet, no…

[P.S.: Really, the song is good. Even when I’m talking people are uploading this PV. Go listen to it, ok?]

[P.P.S.: “Why no put the star sign in?” You ask. If you know someone’s birth date astrological sign is already a given. Can?]
