Thursday Night Report: I Waited A Month For This

Not exactly, but “up to” that is a fact.
Just a reminder for those who have seen the Klassic Note Review a few weeks ago and for those who haven’t known, this order I received from yesterday to today is from of two artists, sphere and fumika, and their new singles.

I had a hard time for this. I had to call the delivery courier TWICE to solve this problem, and if you know fumika’s single “Endless Road” is released almost exactly a month ago, you would know how long I’ve waited for it to come to me.
To the question why I am still doing a review though I’ve done the reviews of the songs, it’s for the sources. I just like to share my online shopping experience (besides complaining about the delivery courier) and what benefits I got for it. fumika’s is from Tower Records, because I liked what I see of the special gift, the sticker which is similar to the album art. Because I don’t really like the others anyway. Not like the art is excellent anyway.

I also made an initiative to show fumika-san on her Twitter that I support her by buying her single. Not like she saw it anyway. Got hold of another user’s attention though…

sphere’s single seems to appear today but on the mailbox, which is why it was not seen by me today. Special gift here is tough to choose, as the photos consist of all four members, which makes very small focus for any of them.

I wanted the gift from Gamers, but obviously I missed the chance on the closest of the close-ups. So I opted for Sony Music Japan, which is the second time I visited their shop after Mina-chan’s single in April. Now that I got the photo, I then noticed that I made the right choice: Ayahi is in a corner. Oops, sorry Ayachi-chan. Maybe next time?
That’s all I have to say. Waiting for at least two weeks still got this much to write… is quite admirable already, I say for myself.
Cya guys then, waiting to hear more of Aki-chan’s cute voice for the week. Until next time… hope you guys are well. I’m not, by the way…
[P.S.: On a side note, I’m going through a very bad trip of revamp for APoL, so things are a little rough right now. When I’m over this I think I’ll be able to finish… until Chapter 11? Wish me luck.]

Sunday Night Report: Entertainment News Weekly, Even I’m Sick Of The Title

Hi guys. Been doing up something for Klassic Note again because I have free time and also not forgetting the shows for this week. Let’s talk about it then.

ANIME
Tonari no Seki-kun: This time Seki-kun’s doing a flipbook animation, on his textbook. With sound effects recorded in a seemingly-never ending film with the familiar “Tsubasa wo Kudasai” Japanese oldie, even I’ll get touched by Seki-kun’s work. If I’m not wrong next week (or tomorrow) is the last episode. Well can’t bear to see this show go, but if Seki-kun’s has this much up his sleeve then we should let his sleeve take a break?
Isshuukan Friends: Rather surprising, contrary to the title for the show. It’s in two parts, and they emphasise on the sounds made that are written on the title. But the episodes are rather normal, which make it nice to watch too. Focus here is Hase-kun worried about Fujimiya-san forgetting about him over the summer holidays. I swear I’ll get a part-time job and buy a phone for her already…
Ryuugajou Nanana: Turns out Juugo got the treasure first before the others in the last episode, and Yukihime, who was following him, also did not obtain the treasure. Besides the chain bondage porn interlude in the middle, glad the couple of bad guys could clear things out, with the help of Nanana-chan. Wonder what’s gonna happen next? Your guess is as good as mine…
Kawaisou: Not very used to it when the episode introduces new characters that are more irritating than funny, and Usa-kun going through the same anxiety as me when remarks are thrown to me and my past. Luckily (and rather predictably) Ricchan saves the day, along with Mayumi and Sayaka. Yep, that’s where I laughed. More next episode too. This is going to get more interesting…

MANGA
BLEACH: Hooray. Ichigo’s here to save the day. Period.
Kutoshitsuji: Now that the truth’s out, shall we settle this arc once and for all? Werewolves, huh…

SHOWS
MythBusters: Recently been hitting on two new pre-air episodes (I mean that with respect to USA, as it first airs in Australia), about bungee apple bobbing and cliff car crashing. Just hope they do more in an episode though…
CrazyGod: X-MEN? Seriously?

KLASSIC NOTE
This week’s mainly on Isshuukan Friends theme songs, but since I talked about it last week, more elaboration is not needed this week. New songs in pending include yanaginagi (I’m getting used to that Anime “Black Bullet” ending song), Nanana’s opening theme song, and Neat’s new album reveal at the end of the month on a live stream. Awesome. I’m ready for June. Good thing is I may be keeping my cash to myself in the following month…

On a side note, with respect to the introduction above, I’m doing up a video version of various commercials for the 5th anniversary compilations and song rankings in DVD. Awesome, isn’t it? Also the Klassic Note Song Awards page is updated with all compilations which I do not tell you about. Haha.

Cya guys then. Until next time… I should be ready to open the packages. Hopefully. Thinking of changing couriers to reduce the delivery time already…

[P.S.: If you’ve been waiting to see this segment of my home screen backgrounds, you’re sick.]

Sunday Night Report: Entertainment News Weekly AGAIN

HI guys. Been thinking a lot these days. Nevertheless, the week is packed with plenty of things to enjoy, trying to compensate for the mellow days ahead of me. Let’s get started.

ANIME
Isshuukan Friends: Oh yeah, it’s about the mother. Fancy like, the couple has barely even dated and Fujimiya’s bringing her boyfriend to see her mother?? Haha, not the point, but as an excuse (haha) of coming over to do schoolwork, and the mother reveals to Hase-kun more about Fujimiya’s condition. Apparently it’s more mental of an illness than we know, and it definitely has got to do with her friends. Next week’s topic is vague, so I guess I’ll just watch. Sidetracking with the Manga, two things mainly have been largely tweaked, which are the order of chapters (Saki-chan’s appearance only AFTER Hase-kun meets the mother, which means the visit should not include her) and the vagueness in expressing Hase-kun’s math results (it was not shown in the Manga, but in the Anime, along with Saki-chan, which…), which are weird. But the adaptation here is good, don’t get influenced just because I told you what happened in the Manga…
Tonari no Seki-kun: This time Seki-kun’s being his own stylist, by choosing his own glasses to fit his design, while strongly threatened to wear the plain one Yokoi-san likes. They are SOOO indirectly dating already. And where’s the classmate Gotou-san?
Ryuugajou Nanana: About her is not important. But about the adventure is more of a talk. The treasure is also not a genuine one, and Juugo has been planting his comrades around to snatch it back, which is discovered by Tensai-san. If you read till here without watching the episode, I pretty much spoiled you on it. Also some mysterious mask disguise character is around too, and I’m not going to talk about all the fetish and weird stuff going on with all the characters…
Kawaisou: Hmm… I guess it’s quite an interesting episode? Kind of deters me to see them talk about molesters though, but Ricchan here should be careful though, especially when engrossed in her book. Also, Usa-kun ends up somehow taking a part-time job during his summer holidays, with Ricchan… (I don’t know what kind of expression is that, scared I corrupt you guys haha) impressed seeing the outfit Usa-kun is wearing, I suppose next episode is about her joining on the job fest? Looks like so from the next episode preview…

MANGA
BLEACH: Did I tell you guys that Kenpachi is so in trouble? Well somehow he stays with a breath, as something appears in the sky. Hopefully Urahara-sensei is here to do some magic already…

Also, I cleared A Channel until the latest chapter, and according to the translator, is also latest in serialisation. Great. Another Manga to follow again. Next? Hmm I’ll try for Acchi Kocchi or WORKING!! perhaps?

KLASSIC NOTE
If I have been lazy for not posting enough on Twitter to show how much this week is filled with new songs, then I’ll start compensating by filling this post full of it. I mean it.

Besides the listening to Kawaisou ending song and sphere’s new single, the main attraction I’ve been waiting for is Mikakoshi’s 2nd album “e’tuis”, which – according to an interview – is (also giving the French feel or something) the reverse of the word “suite” in “in the suite”, one of the songs in the list. Also it’s the longest I’ve reviewed, and because the composer’s so lazy to split it into four tracks, I’m not taking the song. I would take two if they split it up. Also, before this I’ve been brainwashing myself with iTunes previews before I get to hear, so I’ve been in a generous mood ever since yesterday, and am about to give the thumbs up for half her album. Really. The most I give to an album in a while, without much origin. But I like Mikakoshi, and like to give her chance, and so I did. Amongst them (if you do listen to them) are: (in order??)

“Even in such a short time they also can screw the song up.” -Kaineng

  • “Material”: First impression from previews. Feel it had the most impact on me. Full song was a little disappointing (just that part which I didn’t get to hear the preview), but I still like it. 4-stars straight away, with little hesitation.
  • “Emerald no Oka wo Koete”: Sounds lively, and it’s Mikakoshi’s composition. Everything. Lyrics and song. And her first. Lyrics and song.
  • “Sky message”: Decided to give this because it’s a topic song (PV is on YouTube, feel free to see the preview), and it sounding nicer than “ABC”, another topic song which is… eh…
  • “Bokura”: Still in the process of deciding. Kind of deterred of the oriental instrumentals (like KitaEri’s album too, which was totally deterred), but I like the wordy verses and the nice chorus. So I guess I’ll give it too?

And believe it or not, all the song lyrics for the above are all written by herself. I’m deeply impressed with her writing skills. Really. And how much faith the music company has in her. Haha. Nevertheless, I like this album. Gives a lot of chance, especially with my expansive mood, hehe. Screw whoever is the one who gave a 1-star rating on her album on iTunes…

Also, I’ve received next week’s releases already, just because they are all Anime songs, and all from the same show Isshuukan Friends. Kon Natsumi’s single for the opening theme is not bad, and the B-side got me interested. But really…

“Must they make the Anisong so hard to digest?” -Kaineng

Also, for the ending single Fujimiya-san’s voice actor (Amamiya Sora-chan) for singing a Sukima Switch’s cover is also pretty average, though her voice is so ready for a singing debut (which is half the reason why she and two others are in the same company as all the members of sphere “MusicRay’n”), and I’m looking forward to hear her sing in the near future. The single also has the voice actor of Hase-kun sing in a different pitch, and he is also a newbie. Not like he’s getting a debut anytime soon though…

Well I  guess that’s all. Phew. My fingers are kinda tired. I wished I could do a podcast as saying is definitely faster than typing, but I do not have the proficiency in English nor the guts to do so. So, too bad. Cya guys then, until next time… hopefully the next post will be about the packages that are lost in delivery? Pray hard liao…

[P.S.: Recently been piling up songs from disbanded artists, which are not in the list. Some include RYTHEM, SunSet Swish and School Food Punishment. And not forgetting HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR. Well that’s all of them already…]

[P.P.S.: As a bonus, I shall reveal every week (depending on my mood) all the screenshots of my home page from my phone. Really.
Normally you guys don’t get a look-in because it’s a private album on Facebook, but… uploading to Facebook wouldn’t be private, huh.]
10155459_10152407123207460_8773151307497616659_n[1]10339626_10152414960602460_956688555342775827_n[1]10177473_10152417050772460_5325760302725480850_n[1]10155395_10152426522602460_2428131031961169670_n[1]10347565_10152434428517460_5576125250206453467_n[1]

Also, comments that are along with the photos are not shown here because I don’t want to reveal my fetishes to you. Especially you guys. (Audience: EH?)

Sunday Night Report: Klassic Note Reviews x2!

Since I made the title obvious, and most of you (if any) is waiting for this after reading Entertainment News Weekly, I shall start without delay, yeah?

THE KLASSIC NOTE REVIEW
fumika – Endless Road (Single)

(Simple cover, isn’t it?)

Origin: As you guys know, I’m not unfamiliar with fumika-san. Ever since listening to her debut single from Anime “BLEACH”, I’ve been following her on her new songs, with a breakthrough in 2012, where she sings the three-parter duo songs followed by her album, which created an impression, at least for me. Since her shift out of Sony Music Japan, she has been actively singing original and cover songs too, with this being an original production. Without cover songs. Her previous two songs are not the case.

(1) Endless Road
This song is about love, and more than that. It’s about happiness and bliss. Besides, the topic is about marriage anyway, shown in the PV. Nice song though, like I’ve not been hearing a good song from fumika in a while. Lyrics are also written in topic, with four seasons and reminiscing the past, making the songs more impressionable. Overall, this is a nice song, and it fully represents fumika’s style. And since she’s out of Sony Music Japan, a super-copyrighted label, means you can watch the PV on YouTube! My eyes tear up the first time I watched and sang to this. *sob*

If you tear up halfway through the song, so did I…

Rating: 4 stars (Solid Average)

(2) A~Yokatta
Don’t mind the looks of the song title, but the song itself is full of hype, and a feel of thankfulness is felt after receiving bliss and enjoying the happiness. I like this song too, as is concludes the single really well. Which really makes this single so complete. Makes me feel like I’ve reached another stage of my life, though not marriage, haha.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

Verdict: Overall, it’s a good single. It’s complete, as I mentioned above in the two songs in it. And I’ve already placed an order, which… is not here yet. I’ll show fumika-san on Twitter when I got the copy. It’s the best proof that I do support artists I listen.
[P.S.: With “Endless Road” the song I also got fumika-san to follow me on Twitter. OMG.]

ALSO!

THE KLASSIC NOTE REVIEW
sphere – Kasukana Hisokana Tashikana Mirai (Single)

[Anime Edition]

[Limited Edition]

[Regular Edition]

(I know about the title being in another format, but I shall stick to the consensus. Very typical covers though, and Nanana-chan seems to have twisted her arm…)

Origin: If you guys need me to introduce this voice actor idol group, then you’re insulting my unique taste in their works. Again they have tied up with another Anime “Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin” which I do watch (not a bad show), impending for their upcoming FOURTH album after celebrating their 5th anniversary after debut. Again, this single is not a disappointment, and I’ve already prepared to press the order button when I finished listening to this release.

(1) Kasukana Hisokana Tashikana Mirai
What’s almost awesome is from when I heard the Anime preview and radio previews before that, and overall the song lands in the typical Anison format, which is fine by my case. I personally favour a shorter song (as shorter song makes lesser mistakes and variations), but this is fine as it is. A very nice song to listen to, especially the chorus. You know what? It’s so nice that I chanced upon a full song preview! Here you go!

スフィア - 微かな密かな確かなミライ
Shared from siruth

Rating: 4 stars (Anison-typical Average)

(2) synchronicity
I only knew of the title of the song and heard the preview of the song from Aki-chan’s radio show just three days ago, and I heard the full song yesterday already. With the song title’s creativity aligned with mine (refer to APoL cards for details LOL), this song is also creativity presented, in a wacky and somehow naughty way (with a slight dere theme?), typical of their songs. And I particularly liked the chorus, and again, this song turned out better than the A-side above. It’s not the first time this has happened, so I shall no dwell upon it. Personally like this song more than the Anison, and primarily the reason why I would bother to go Sony Music Shop to get the special gift AGAIN.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

Verdict: If it’s not good it wouldn’t even make it here. This is another good single from sphere. And I like it. PV-wise… I haven’t seen it yet, so… But overall it’s good, and Klassic Note is about listening, so I guess the video is not important?

-Kaineng, on the Klassic Note

That’s all, folks. Until the next time… if I get the two singles within next week then I’ll talk about it again? Meanwhile I’ll moan about the dreadful reality that I don’t live in Japan…

Sunday Night Report: Entertainment News Weekly

You know what I’m going to do after this? (Audience: No.) Eh… I’m  going to also do up the Klassic Note reviews I talked about next week, which includes fumika AND sphere’s new singles. Because they’re not going to appear on my shelf anytime soon. Hopefully not.

Ah well, let’s begin.

ANIME
Tonari no Seki-kun: Now we’ve proven Seki-kun to be a genius, he starts to entice Yokoi-san to play along with his tricks, this time in a form of card tricks. Obviously his skill is better than any master you see on Earth, but it is how Yokoi-san cannot resist his antics that is worth the watch.
Isshuukan Friends: If anyone doesn’t feel this show is picking up his paces… so do I. Haha. Fujimiya-san finally makes another friend, this time female, and breaks her social barrier in class. Which is good, really. Just like me. And I guess that is better for the next episode, where things will get more interesting…
Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin: Not forgetting the derp that is voiced by Kana-chan (seriously?), this episode changes direction to talk about the life behind Juugo’s life, which includes connections with Matsuri and his inability to pay for the rent. For Nanana-chan.

Right? Next episode sees another treasure hunt? Tensai-san is in the action again?!
Kawaisou: (the waiting for the subs is really a killer, like I just watched it today, two days after release) Another episode on showing how sick Shirosaki is, even if he is not a paedophile he is a seriously drilled masochist. (I can hear him thanking me for saying this already) Though Mayumi’s talk to the kid is a fail, thing still went for a happy ending. Which I like. And I’m not an M.

I’ve seen some of the Anime next season, and… first impressions on original animations (ie. without any adaptations) are all robots. Haiz. I guess I’ll stick with Ayahi-chan and the new Kuroshitsuji season then.

MANGA
BLEACH: Kenpachi is worried. About Yachiru. And he still has to deal with three more opponents. But I guess, from Kubo’s leniency towards the characters, would not have removed Yachiru for good. Yet. But it is of concern, as Kenpachi seems worried. Hope he is not seriously affected after seeing the brain. And the inherent disappearance of Yachiru. Hehe.
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun: Officially the second-last chapter about Yuuzan’s own concerns. As a rich and carefree kid. I’d like my life to be like this, you know.

KLASSIC NOTE
Wow what a week… of nothing. Haha. Really. Not much this week, apart from listening to fumika’s new single, also listened to Gotch’s debut album, who you know is the composer… Wait, I did say that last week. Oh well. I also listened to releases for next week. sphere’s new single is great as it’s safe in the Anison-composition style, and Kawaisou’s ending… is good in itself. The B-side character song by Kana-chan (again) just reminds me of Kuroneko from Oreimo. I guess that’s what happens if you listen to a voice actor with a variety of roles…

Also seen a bunch of new songs announced, like Sid’s new single on July, which is to be the Opening song for Kuroshitsuji Anime. Ending is by a newbie who… is famous in the modelling industry. And not the common type. You’ll get what I mean when we get to there. Kalafina is also prepared for the new Anime season with a new single coming on July. Ikimono and miwa are also amongst the regulars who are also in the midst of creating new songs, so the second-half of the year wouldn’t be all that bad after all.

Of course there are more and I could go on forever, but if I go on you’ll be seeing the Klassic Note reviews next week already, haha.

Next up: 2x Klassic Note Reviews! Really thought of doing for everything on my shelf, but… unless I have all the time in the world… or do I?

[P.S.: APoL is… unofficially on hiatus, until I get out of my-]

[P.P.S.: And if you don’t know how I’m suffering from internal bleeding instead from out of the nose…

No. I guess I shall keep the fetishes to myself xD]

Sunday Night Report: Entertainment News Weekly

Hey, guys. Been a little late here because I was listening to some piano performance. Whatever is after that you shouldn’t know.
And also been listening to new songs to put in my list, and am glad to talk about my next order already under way. Let’s get to the others first shall we?
ANIME
Isshuukan Friends: Eh… a quarrel that somewhat wasn’t? And yeah, congrats for Fujimiya-san for remembering her friend (and only friends) Hase-kun, because he’s going to die of jealousy of his friend Shougo very soon. Next episode comes a new character? Well all I know is it’s voiced by Ookubo Rumi, who voices Ichimiya-san’s sister in Servant x Service and her main character role in Acchi Kocchi, so rather looking forward. Back to the topic, let’s hope Fujimiya-san doesn’t bring her own rejecting character along with her newfound recovery of her memory of friendships? I’ll watch to find out…
Tonari no Seki-kun: Hmm it’s a game that Japanese play and it’s “Fukuwarai” apparently similar to the English version of “Pin the Tail on the Donkey”. Well I don’t play it, but seeing Seki-kun effortlessly manipulating what he wants without knowing Yokoi-san is playing with him in the end really is impressive.
Ryuugajou Nanana… you know: Wow. Didn’t expect Juugo – the innocent and naive main character – to have the evil side. Apparently development moves faster than you think, and his father is also in it too, finding treasure and so on, and also (if I’m not mistaken) controlling the island. Hmm. With such interesting developments I guess I should watch on. From here now Nanana-chan seems to be here just for our viewing pleasure. Really.
Kawaisou: I laughed hard again. Creating a story out of nowhere and people still playing on the lovey-dovey couple-to-be is really just making this show a joy to watch already. Everything in this show is just wrong. Besides the couple. They should really move out already, or get rid of everyone else. Ritsu is the owner here, right?
SHOWS
CrazyGod: Till this latest episode then I noticed the change of hosts has no relation whatsoever to be watching this show because the jokes are still there. But I do feel there’s something missing nonetheless. More… chaotic, I guess…
MANGA
Since it’s Golden Week in Japan, most Manga are suspended for the week. But I still get to watch Anime. Hmm. Despite that:
A Channel: A hell a lot of new jokes are out, like how Satou-sensei doesn’t mind switching places with Kitou-sensei who is going to examine the female students while he stands outside seeing the queue and admiring his fetish – foreheads. Seriously…
KLASSIC NOTE
Hmm been picking on cinema staff and reviewing fhana and fumika (no pun intended here) on their new singles. fhana is as per previous single I’ve heard but fumika… I decided to support her again. Damn fumika’s following me on Twitter! Really! and one of the fhana members favourited my post! Oh I so never regretted my decision to use Twitter this year. So guys remember to visit when free! Will definitely post twice a day! Or at least once! Search for @KlassicNote for more!
Ok after some short advertising, that was already decided for the week. Just recently been reviewing Gotch’s first album, and whoever doesn’t know who he is should be familiar with Masafumi Gotoh, the vocals and guitar AND composer AND lyricist for ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION. His style is similar to what he did in the band, but more towards his preferred style, as hearing from the album. Picked up two pickup songs (no pun intended again) which can be heard on YouTube too. For convenience’s sake it’s below:

This is the slightly more lively one...

… and the song I feel like ending my life with the Internet with. Haha.

For fumika, recently then decided to give the B-side because it compliments SOOO well with the A-side: Gratefulness and thankfulness is all I hear from these two songs. Keep up the good work, fumika-san! Looking forward to another album already…

(Audience: Wow that’s very short for an advert.) Haha I guess. In there are the two new songs from Gotch too, in case you guys cannot see the videos fro some reason (Or I didn’t place it, haha. I did, okay?) and many other videos too. Cya guys then. I’ll think of whether to give any of fumika’s new songs a 5-star rating then I’ll get to the review, because I can’t possibly wait for two weeks for the CD to come in order to give the review. (Audience: TWO WEEKS?) Yeah, I’m also getting sad already. Until next time!
