Thursday Night Report: Weekly Entertainment News

You cannot believe how screwed my course now is. But then, if we’re talking about Entertainment, then my life should be placed aside for this occasion. How have you guys been then? Been catching the shows along with me?
ANIME – Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
The latest episode… has competition! Haha I don’t know if Yamaken is counted as that or even Natsume-chan (this one is confirmed in Manga spoilers though), but I’ll not read the Manga further, as I anticipate the animation team’s performance for this anime season. Things are getting interesting as you can see…
Kokoro Connect – News about the show to air its last episodes “Michi Random” to be about… next year? Yeah, that sucks, as I wished it ended this year, especially with the Ending Song that comes along with it. So… let it end well then, since it has dragged for some time already…
SHOWS – MythBusters
This episode’s just celebrating the most exciting and vital feature of the show: Explosives. And everything about them, I must say. It’s cool to see explosions for a whole hour, and hope they get back to more myths next week…

MANGA – BLEACH
Eh… Ichigo’s reached the Soul Palace, and many unknown things are surfacing and require explanation again. Kubo man, you’re confusing all of us again… But then we see some interesting people, like Kuukaku and Ganju (yeah…), the Fullbringers (!!!) and guess what? A clue for the arrancars? Well it’s spreading in the forums, so let’s see if it aligns with the author’s ideas. But then I’m looking forward to more action, especially if this is supposed to be an action Manga…
This week also I’ll be deciding on getting YUI’s best album, as there are no songs to listen this week, and I cannot already since it’s gonna hit a new high and I cannot fit them in an MP3 CD? Yep. Until I can show you guys YUI’s best albums (yesh both of them, along with the special book?), let me show you some Mina-chan. Lately there’s been plenty of her pictures. Actually, if I ever got a chance to get her limited edition calendar I wouldn’t need to buy big BLEACH calendars for next year liao… Here you go!

Wednesday Night Report: The Desires & Troubles in Life

I thought I’d start with a Japanese opening, but then if I continue many of the readers here would not understand. And talking about understanding… I conclude that people do not understand each other. Really, if everyone takes a step to understand each other, confrontations would be unnecessary and things wouldn’t need to go all chaotic over small things. Haiz, this world….

Of course, I’ve also came for Entertainment News update. I’ll take some time to type, since I’m still reviewing new songs for the week:

ANIME
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, of course. What else? This week’s episode clearly defined Shizuku’s stand to Haru’s feelings, which is good, considering there aren’t many episodes left, not like Toradora. And I cannot disagree that Natsume-chan is the cutest girl in the show. Haha…

SHOWS
MythBusters has another wonderful episode about food, about food affecting your reaction time and food cooked from car engine. Yeah it’s interesting, but doesn’t suit me since… I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving or even go out for a picnic? Yeah…

SONGS
Hmm Sid first bah. Their new single… B-side did not catch my attention again. I’ve also encountered QUATTRO’s new album, one of the artists introduced by Ajikan on their NANO-MUGEN COMPILATION this year. The album is… highly rated by me, like 3 out of 7 is good, you know… As for the two albums:
Rie fu & the fu – I must say, I must say… For two years in solitude before this album I must say it’s quite good. The English songs and occasional Japanese songs (hey didn’t you think it’s the other way instead?) are wonderful, and potentially thinking of half her album of 10 songs liao…
STEREOPONY Best Album – Hmm… They made good choices, they made bad choices too. Some songs that I picked in the first album did appear, but some were just ‘high’ songs that I may need the mood to review. If I wrote a bunch of stuff at the start of this post obviously I wouldn’t be in a happy mood. Haha, really…

And yesh, we’re drawing close to my post tonight. And yeah, there isn’t much this week to talk about, besides thinking about driving and me having to spend my Saturday away in a camp. Haiz. Duno lah. This course f***ed up lah. Cya guys then, until next time… think about it. What I say. Either it makes sense, or it’s going into the APoL storyline. Haha…

Tuesday Night Report: Weekly Holiday News

Haha, hi guys. Much has happened since I see you guys here, but then… I can’t possibly write all here, or else I’ll be charged… in any other way possible. Ok, so I’ll just talk about the life OUTSIDE the camp.

Happy Deepavali to those… Indian readers (I almost put “Hindu”), and for me is just another day hanging out with my relatives, where “hanging out” refers to them playing cards and me sleeping the whole afternoon away at my aunt’s house. Haha, well. And I cannot imagine: I can actually control this computer from another tablet outside the house! Cool…

ANIME
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun: Watched this morning, and yeah, it’s getting more complicated, and wordy. But I guess that’s how Shoujo manga stories, and the animation company is trying to make it as less draggy as possible, so let’s hope this show goes well. The occasional jokes would keep me company for the time being though, Shizuku is just not accepting change in her life. But then I wonder if her not studying and getting herself a boyfriend would stop her grades from improving, even in the long run. Hmm…

SHOWS
MythBusters – This week’s all about diving, cannonballs and an apology. No wonder they took this long just to start the next season, especially the four months just to settle the mishap they had with their experiments. Besides, who the heck is staying so close to a bomb range? I would just move house or start suing people just to make my house-moving free of charge. Haha. But then they finished the myth, which is rather commendable considering their circumstances. Hope they watch on their conducting of their experiments, so this kind of sh*t would not happen again, yeah?

BLEACH Manga? If I can predict I’ll tell you guys now, but suffice it to say they need another plan to infiltrate Hueco Mundo? (What makes you think another assault on Soul Society would occur again? (Audience: Eh…) With Ichigo? (Audience: Impossible.) Haha…) But we’ll see tomorrow, after I’ve gone through another day of… training. Yeah. Training.

Cya guys then, I duno what much to say liao, completely absorbed in Sphere and Tomacchan, especially damn sad about not attending their performance in AFA 2012, when it’s just downtown in MY country. Saturday Evening Report: Hard Rock Cafe

Hi guys, it’s been some time since I typed something. But as I see I’m enjoying my time listening to J-Rock, I might as well share it with you guys. Read on to find out more.

Ever since I discovered another website where I can find Japanese new artists, I have an influx of songs coming by way from the 2nd half of this year. “audioleaf”, for that’s its name, is a portal for many artists to release their previews or demo tracks online, so people like us get to listen. You guys know something? Don’t worry about the Japanese: just read the English and it’ll take you through the place, and I tell you, anything with a play button you press guarantees a new feel. That’s what I’m doing now, and I’m already getting something. Haha. But I’ll talk about what I heard recently, yeah?

First that caught my attention was “sunday morning bell” (you can just search there, too lazy to give links), and their Pop-Rock songs were great. Last year they released their first album, and I must say… besides those they placed on preview on the site everything else is kinda weak. But then cumon’, they’ve made promotions wonderfully. Their hit song “WAGON” made me want to see their PV, sadly only a preview is found.

Next that came with the same time as them was a group called “deepNow”, focused on Rock and their upbeat songs kept me going. Their first album which was released early this year was not on the Net (obviously they’re new), but then their hit song was good.

Then some weeks later where I went on to VELTPUNCH’s best album I encountered “ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE”, not that I’m ill but it’s a good remedy to missing JRock for some time back then. Their first single “Forget About It” (also on YouTube, I think I posted their PV before) was great, and really some Japs singing English as good as Rie fu for the first time, haha.

Also, a visit to audioleaf again made me got interested in SECONDWALL, and even though they have only released their first release (a joint single with another band, duno why) and the song I listen “Resound” is not with an origin, I look forward to their new songs and potentially their own album.

I also gave some mainstream artists a look yet again, with people like “SPYAIR” and “UNLIMITS” popping in with new songs, as I heard their songs from BLEACH. SPYAIR’s new album and single released on September, but the single “Naked” caught my attention. Sometimes, lyrics get into my attention, so this is just something I heard somewhat different from their first 2 singles two year ago. UNLIMITS on the other hand, finished their 2nd album weeks ago, and I must say is quite typical Rock, and their hit song caught my attention, “Meisou Spiral”. The beat was unique and… quite hard to follow…

 

All in all, I’ve been glad to have came here five years ago, with Ajikan and Chatmonchy starting my passion for JRock. Also, I’ve been working on specials for FIVE GOOD YEARS of listening to Japanese songs, and I’ll tell you guys as soon as I’m done with this year’s songs, and this driving course. Yeah. I should be glad I’m not called back this morning, or should I? Cya guys again then, until next time… If you’re bored, you guys can search for those songs if you like. JRock, that is.

[P.S.: I wonder what I should do with APoL Chapter 4. I just don’t have the mood to write now…]

Saturday Evening Report: Entertainment News… And Many Other Things

Yep, I’m bored, so I might as well come here to update.
ANIME
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (only, apparently) - Well Episode 5 focused on Haru’s brother, and how nice his brother is to not send him back to see his Dad, given that he’s still studying, along with his best friend Shizuku-chan. Haha. Well, looking forward to the many-side relationships on Haru (look at that girl who just got saved and falls in love with him) and the soundtrack: Apparently it’s very interesting, especially the acoustics.

SHOWS
MythBusters (of course, what else?) – Talking about Halloween, and yesh interesting myths were put to the test, like how the team sadistically love to scare themselves to their extreme to find out the smell of fear, and people doubting about carrying real dead bodies easily. Well that is something to test, very practical I suppose. Duno what’s for next week, so I’ll see it tomorrow I think…
MUSIC
Nothing much this week, besides me getting SPECIAL OTHER’s new album “Have a Nice Day” and listening to Lara’s (yesh she’s a Chinese singer) 2nd album (I heard her first on 2010, if you guys remember). SPECIAL OTHERS is just great, the variety of melodies they have in the chorus is great, but need more creativity on the verses. I still picked half the album like the previous album “The Guide”, so that goes to show how great they are when they step in… and with some days of listening, haha. I duno, I’m into J-Rock these days…
