Sunday Night Report: Reasons Why I Shouldn’t Leave Home

Recently has been hectic. The higher-ups have been giving instructions and details to the Thailand trip that I HAVE TO ATTEND for the next two weeks. Official announcement says that it starts from 17th this month to 3rd next month, so pretty much I’ll miss plenty when I come back after SEVENTEEN DAYS of staying outside homeland. What would I miss, I hear you say? Well, in a nutshell:

  • Firstly, Aki-chan. Her 2nd album “Love letters” is releasing September 25th, and with a strong composing team behind her and my previous experience with her from her first album (it’s on my shelf xD) I’ll really be sad to not hear it first-hand, for I am deciding to pre-order it too. Sianz.
  • Next is Kashiwagi-san, the Manga. I mentioned in the Entertainment News that their Manga 2.5 is going to be released, ie. adaptation of the love story I’ve been reading these few years. Worst thing is, it’s announcement of cast and details happen on the release of the next issue of the magazine published, which is 24th September. See what I mean? Anticipation is so going to kill me when I’m in Thailand without Internet… or not? No, not…
  • SCANDAL’s new single. If you guys think I may not miss it, and I know it happens a day after I leave (the 18th), watch their first live on Music Station and you’ll get what I mean. Just praying that it comes out before release date (there have been such cases), or else… *sob*
  • Anime, anime, anime. All the THREE Anime I’m currently watching ends on September PLUS next season previews and airtime all start on October, so that means I’ll get all the shock and disappoint all at once ONLY after I come back from Thailand. The hell with this trip already…
  • Euro Truck Simulator 2 expansion. If you guys play this game (JFGI please) it’s a real simulation game, and looking forward for expansion content. But then been busy so not playing recently and will have to catch up when I come back liao… Sad

And these are only the few of the MANY reasons I’ll be sad if I leave my computer. Really, you guys may not get it, and the others may think I’m crazy, but I’m already sad about the trip already. How? Take it like a man lor, what else? Not like I can do anything about it. “You see, sometimes things get in your way of life, and you just have to choice but to suck it up.” –Kaineng (Audience: A~re? When did it become a quote?)

Cya guys then, until next weekend… I promise I’ll get a move on for Chapter 8 of APoL (do my best :D), and also cope with the things I need to prepare for the trip. Haiz…

Let’s get a butterfly to cheer us up, yesh?

(Audience: But this is…) Yeah, she’s Choucho. She sang for “Hyouka” Anime before. And in Japanese, her name’s ‘butterfly’. Haha. (Audience: |||…)

[P.S.: I feel feverish already… (Audience: Chance to keng now?) Hmm…]

Sunday Night Report: The APoL Making, and What’s Making My Life

Eh… you guys know? Writing a story like APoL is like making a prata; (sorry people who don’t know what it is, explaining it here anyway, and there’s link on the picture too) I start out with a whole “box” of ideas as fundamentals of a story arc, similar to the dough that is prepared at the start. I then “knead” it out by expanding the idea to give it more depth and logic. Then I flip it around to “give it air”, allowing it to expand to fit into the contents of a chapter. Finally, I take it for a “fry” to finalise its content as what you guys see in the final product…

Anyways, I write this nonsense (which makes sense to me apparently) to remind you guys that I’ve not forgotten the promise to do up Chapter 8 to end the Shiriko arc (oops, hint hint), but then due to the many things that are happening from last week and my duty yesterday which took up the whole of Saturday and next week I’m preparing to go to Thailand for exercise already… Argh this just sucks.

Next up (and last up I think): Reasons why I should stay in Singapore for the following three weeks. You guys should already know half of them by now; I’ve been repeating them often in the previous posts…

Sunday Evening Post: Entertainment News, First

Hi guys. Eh… since I don’t have much time left due to having duty yesterday (f*** whoever’s responsible anyway), I will spam as many post as I had planned to do today. Because if you guys know… ok yesh I’m supposed to leave that for later. Anyways, let’s start with what makes me happy (and probably you) every week!

ANIME
Servant x Service: Rather impressed by the author for keeping balance in most things in the show, resulting in little progress in any form of character development, for example secret relationships and blockhead children. Still impressed how Touko-chan’s voice actor (Ookubo Rumi-chan) for being able to act different roles, even though my impression of her is all tsundere. The other show I watched her this year (which was shown last year) was Acchi Kocchi, if you guys remember me mentioning it.
Titans: Pretty exciting. Captain Levi is just a sick bastard when it comes to fighting, and the survivors just throw bodies in front of the titans for their own survival. Somehow I prefer ultimate-move endings to shows like this which end up in despair, like BLEACH. When you’re on the losing end, it’s good to know what your ultimate well-kept move is still able to win the battle…
Kaminai: Another weird bunch of people it seems, and this time round it’s a much larger scale. Instead of humans’ abilities to revive itself, or live the undead life, people actually wish for life to be as it is before the world ends. Well, reminds me of Kara no Kyoukai (5th movie, those who watch will know), and somehow the easiest solution is to destroy the world. How they do that, we just see…

Sucks to say this, but after next week (which I promise I’ll post this again) I’ll be off for two weekends so don’t come here to see my reaction for season endings or what I’m watching for next season. I’m going to hold my breath for the endings and will decide what shows to watch by the time I come back. Details in the next post.

SHOWS
No MythBusters, and I can only talk about an episode of CrazyGod, with crazy people rapping and professional rapper judging them. No wonder it’s a crazy show…

MANGA (THIS, I forgot to add last week, yesh?)
Since I finally remembered this, let’s talk about it in detail. Last week read chapters on Kashiwagi-san, and it’s somewhat a date. Yuuto’s dad gave him two tickets for two to an amusement park and he got his friend to invite everyone, including his crush. Best thing is next chapter they’re going both ways; the couples I mean. And what’s even better, this Manga is finally going to get animated! Well almost; Manga 2.5 (Kashiwagi-san’s in the middle) makes me think they just lack sincerity to make it an Anime…

Honestly? Lucky this is the second batch of Manga to be animated (the first batch’s in English Dub), and I wonder who’s going to cast the girls…

Also, BLEACH is finally back with the sudden invasion of the Quincies (Sternritters) turning the shinigami’s favourite land into spiritual human hell, some have shown that they are prepared to take them on, like Mayuri (weird outfit as always) and Hitsugaya, who seems to be able to churn out an ice wall. What about your zanpakuto, boy? You got it back already?

MUSIC
Last week talked about sasakure.UK, this week STILL stuck with his songs (shows how good they are), and also miwa’s new single. Still considering whether I want to order the double A-side single. Rie fu’s album for the Carpenters was great, but think will only take her tribute song for Karen Carpenter. Listen to it. She has a wonderful voice. You’ll like it, I promise.

If you need to listen to a wonderful singing voice, this singer-songwriter will go right up your alley. Promise.

Latest news in Japanese music industry include:

  • Sid’s new single and (you see it right) Aqua Timez is also back with a new single, all credited to the new season of Anime “Magi”;
  • negoto’s new single is Opening Song for original animation next season “Galilei Donna”. Hint that this might be one of the shows I’m considering;
  • Sphere’s back after half a year (by the time they release will be already) with another single, Ending Song to Anime “Yuusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shuushoku wo Ketsui Shimashita.” (I didn’t type that out, don’t worry; copied that from the Net)

I guess that’s all for now. Next up: What happens to my life this month? WTF so hectic?

Monday Night Report: Entertainment News Weekly… almost forgotten

Haha, really. I’m supposed to prepare to go back to the Hell I’m currently attached to, but then since I remembered I might as well make this as… comprehensive as possible?

ANIME
Servant x Service: Random stuff of Hasebe and Yamagami-san it seems, and the best part I can remember is Chihaya bringing the big boob blur babe to buy a skirt, haha. (Hey BBBB leh…) (Audience: LOL)
Shingeki no Kyojin aka Titans: We… still don’t know who the heck is the traitor, and you guys should’ve by now Google-d it to find the answer, and yesh, you’ve seen her before. Eh on a side note, I got so pissed up when I see Eren transform, fight, lose and Mikasa angry over his death. Really, too hyped up until I cannot sleep, even after not sleeping the last night…
Kaminai: Some long story to fetch the lost Scar gravekeeper, and they’re going to another school? Well if you guys watch this show understand the general idea behind this show, not the fact that they are just on a journey to random places in the world.

SHOWS
MythBusters… no sign yet.
CrazyGod: Loved the latest episode, especially where they got the Taiwan’s army recruit show cast (the officer) to act as the superior… And I finally found out that Prongon Fashion and the latest show are all adaptations of western films, which explains why I don’t recall them and thought they were originals…

MUSIC
Plenty, even though it’s literally only Aki-chan’s single. You guys saw the package already? The hell it came last Monday, no one took it, two days later when I booked out it took all the remaining energy and time left for the day before the post office closes to go get it (Wednesdays close time is at 8pm, and I was released 6.30pm), and it was worth… not much. This time the single was rather a disappointment, and as with all the songs this year it all boils down to the last part of the song before the last chorus, also known as the “Middle-eight” or middle-whatever-number-of-beats section. If you guys take a listen you’d get what I mean. Also ordered SCANDAL’s first single all thanks to their two best albums (SCANDAL SHOW last year and ENCORE SHOW this year) and Aso Natsuko’s latest single, which by far is most acceptable amongst all the singles I’ve heard; loved the single.

Well this is right after I came back and got a few days outside the camp. Recently, like over the weekend I’ve been sourcing sasakure.UK, the guy that writes songs for vocaloid Hatsune Miku (don’t tell me you guys don’t know her) and also “Flip Flop” for Aki-chan’s previous single, which was great. Ended up listening to songs NOT sung by the vocaloid, but people like Choucho (who sang for Anime “Hyouka”) and mirto, which is not even a record singer. I heard plenty of songs, and quite a lot are in consideration. Here’s a few for you guys to test it out (with English subtitles):

This has the rock and weird melody feel to it…

My favourite in this list. Reminds me of Hanazawa Kana-chan’s “melody”. Considering this a 2012 production, maybe they copied this?

Interesting song about lies, according to the subtitles. Kinda feels like “The Boy Who Cried Wolf Season 2”, haha

I guess that’s all. I have to prepare liao. Until next time… I’m downloading a whole lot of lives from the past few years to compensate for things I may have missed, and also Ayachi’s new image dvd showing her trip to Australia. Damn I can only watch this coming weekend… Until next time!

[P.S.: APoL Chapter 8… I’m working on it. Been playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 a lot recently… Trucking takes a lot of time, you know…]
