Wednesday Night Report: I Wanna Go To A Place… with Happiness

I make this quick as I don’t have much time before I return back. Yeah, back there, not here. Hi guys, recently, or just yesterday people gather round in front of me to eat and talk and laugh, but then I’m the one at a corner looking at my player laughing to myself. It is hard to not notice that I’m apparently the one segregated from the crowd due to me not involved in their conversations or even eating at that point, but that doesn’t matter. Somewhat what I am not happy about is that the fact that they are, and I’m not. Well this is understandable as I always say:

(Audience: Seriously, your quote again?) Haha somehow. But then it seems that no one is actually interested to get me involved either, lest I flare up and get some of them disappointed. Maybe that is how people see me, a loner and someone who is better left alone. Sounds like the past me already, huh? It’s okay; I cannot expect people to do anything. I don’t control them anyway. Saturday Night Report: Summer Time Party

(Hey I got every song I’m going to introduce into the title! Well it wasn’t very difficult isn’t it…)

Hi guys, recently down with a flu (must be some bastard who passed it to be on Thursday) and may not be able to do many things required this weekend. Listening of songs would be dragged another week because of my mood, and watching shows now has become a torture as this disease of mine is somewhat affecting me in my ability to laugh. Haiz. Sucks to be down with a flu. Anyways, I’m not here to complain. Actually, I’m here to write (if possible for tomorrow, I see lah) about this year’s summer!

Not about bikinis in general (but put a note on that and I’ll get back to it later) (Audience: LOL), but the songs I hear this year. It’s summer, and I’m here to introduce three different ways of enjoying summer. See which one suits your taste lor. We have Visual Kei, J-Rock, and Voice Actor Idol taking charge this time round:

Sunday Night Report: Entertainment News Weekly

Hi guys. Eh… was kinda busy with playing Sims 3 just now, so… haha yeah. (Audience: lol) Anyways, I’m back, and I’ll make this fast, as I would like to treasure most of my weekend, as you guys would like to quickly read through this (if anyone is ever doing so). Well let’s start then:

[NOTE: I had to postpone this entry when I was writing in the afternoon because things keep popping up ALL THE TIME! GODDAMMIT!]

ANIME
Servant more than Service: This week’s show came kinda late, but then was about Yamagami-san it seems, as Kayano Ai-chan expresses her original side (she started with cute roles anyway) to Hasebe, the slacker even though he does take things seriously. Kinda suspicious if Yamagami is dere like Touko anot. Looks like this kind of jokes are down my alley, so good job on the anime.
Titans: This episode is merely talking about the Recon Corps, where Eren is exposed to a bunch of weird yet determined people. Next episode is even more boring as they talk about the career prospects of Armin and Mikasa. Seriously? Mikasa needs to think about this?
Kami-nai: Finally some sense to this show, after three freaking episodes. Ai finally knows that the stupid immortal Hampine Hambert (I don’t give a sh*t to his name if I spell wrongly anyway) is her father and that he is mistaken, and that he is buried six feet under. You happy now? Huh? (Audience: lol) Haha. Anyways, have decided to go full on to watch this show, as in the next town Ai Astin is going to, she is going to meet more undead. This – as I always have to say – is going to get interesting…

SHOWS
MythBusters is rumoured to come back next month, so I’ll see about it. CrazyGod is funny as ever, but as always I’m in camp on Modays so I’ll have to miss the Sunday telecasts. Nvm, it doesn’t matter which day I watch so long as it’s funny…

MUSIC
This week’s primarily focused on Dr.DOWNER and Yocchan’s albums. Yocchan’s album has been shown on its impact in the previous posts, so I shall not comment more besides telling you guys I’m just that close into placing the CD on my shelf. Dr.DOWNER is also good on their latest album, as the classic rock that somehow can compare to Sambomaster, is actually getting me many likes. Took almost half the album, including the song that was in Nano-Mugen Compilation last year.

Also, I got hold of the very-long compiled Rie fu’s monthly compilation “fu diary”. Unfortunately some fella encrypted it up in an archive, and only am able to get my hands on some of them. Well at least it’s the one I’ve been wanting to hear, and it’s good. So I’ll take it. The others? Unless someone help me with the goddamn password lor, or else… Haiz…

MANGA
BLEACH: Ishida finally gives us insight of a Quincy song, which results in the ridiculous method of taking back its holy land which was actually taken to be what we all know as Soul Society. Welcome back, Quincies, to your hometown. Seriously? What has been Yamamoto being doing then? Does the Soul King know or is he an imprisoned Quincy by the Shinigamis? OMG this is confusing and also frustratingly irritating at the same time. And to make things worse, there’s a break next week to piss us off further. Kubo you better come back with some explanation next chapter…
Kuroshitsuji: Finally it’s monthly serialisation is here, and not talking about the Undertaker the P4s reveal that Derrick (the guy Ciel was tasked to investigate) actually is a jerk, threatening people to get his perfect results and academic performance, backed by the vice principal. If you say this is justice then it’s okay, but seeing Sebastian agree with the now-corrupted principal, wonder what is going to happen next. Come on, not like Sebastian will go against his master anyway…
Kaibutsu-kun: The couple finally got to a chat, and yesh it’s somewhat solved. But then Yamaken likes to step in and get his share of Shizuku for himself. Seriously? Love triangles are always like that. But then Haru cannot use violence on him wor, or else Shizuku will get pissed again. So how? I have no idea…

I guess that’s all, especially for the last minute surprises. If there’s more it shall be updated after this has been posted, and this shall not be edited already. Looks like quite a lot for a week, and I guess much more in the MUSIC section next week, as I receive this month’s supply of singles, hopefully good. Cya guys then, until next time… APoL? Sunday Morning Report: Case Study – Guren no Yumiya vs Glamorous days

Hi guys. I promised last night… earlier, that I’ll talk about this. Actually it’s one of the plans I have in mind when this is going on a new site next year, but I’m still thinking only. Don’t worry; when it comes I’ll get on to you guys again. Let’s start then:

Linked Horizon - Guren no Yumiya From “Jiyuu e no Shingeki” PLUS: It’s appearance in the Anime. It’s good. Too good that I think it’s the most epic song of the year. Which brings me to this show too, as one of the factors of course. MINUS: Disappointment. When I heard the full song and even saw the PV things are not looking good. Not only have the PV been made to match so much of the show, Revo (composer of the song, also Linked Horizon) has also changed the style of the song quite entirely so that now it sounds like it sucks. I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t like it.

Hikasa Youko - Glamorous days From “Glamorous Songs” PLUS: Its impact. This song came about from a collaboration album, not of the artist, but the producers behind it. Written by the familiar composer from K-ON! (Tom-H@ck) this song is like none other, even in terms of style and melody. MINUS: Not much, but I think the instrumentals are really kinda overboard in terms of performance. I more likely can remember Yocchan’s singing than the overall song, which sounded like… electro-pop?

CONCLUSION: Yocchan of course. That’s why I gave Linked Horizon 3-stars. For me that literally is a “I-just-added-you-to-my-list-because-I’m-in-too-deep-have-no-choice-but-to-listen-every-once-in-a-while” song. Yep, talking about bad…

Q: How is APoL going?
A: Eh… I can say it’s in progress. Some week ago I mentioned about having a general idea of Chapter 6, but then when I got down to writing it it suddenly becomes difficult, and am apparently in a standstill. Well, I’ll try to skip that portion I’m stuck at and come back to it later then. (It’s a bit like exams, you know) Hope I can finish by tomorrow? And I have drafts until Chapter 8 done already, so just look forward then.

Q: How is life?
A: Wow that’s rather straightforward. A piece of hell. (Audience: How so?) New leaders take over (means they don’t know the way it’s done), discipline is tightened, and more ridiculous rules are set. Now you know what I mean, huh… Currently I’m in love with life at home and eating in camp. Haha. Just… don’t tell my mum…

Q: In the previous post, you mentioned about your… preferences in female voice actors.Can’t you mention the number of… voice actors you currently are following?

Monday Night Report: A Long List Of Things To Do… (Entertainment Portion)

Hi guys. If I’m here on a Monday night it’s definitely not because I got nights out tonight. It’s because I’m having my off until tomorrow. Understand? (Audience: Ok… Not like it’s necessary for you to mention that…)

Let’s talk about Entertainment News first, then.

ANIME
Servant Service: Hmm not bad. Not like I’m into high school girls, but hearing Oo.. wait. *Googles* But hearing Ookubo Rumi-san act a different type of character (well I personally think it’s the same anyway) makes a different viewpoint of her voice acting, as opposed to my previous impression of her in Acchi Kocchi. Other than that, the show is good.
Titans: Finally on the storyline (yesh last week it wasn’t dammit), they talk about how to save Eren. Who are ‘they’? Recon Corps as they call it want to save him so to fulfil his wish of killing as many of the hated enemy as possible. Which would be good, like keeping him outside of the walls would be good in case he goes berserk. And if Levi isn’t much of a name of himself (you get what I mean), in the next episode they’re gonna show how pretty much everyone is like in the Corps. Seriously?
Kaminai: Eh… I duno what to say. I like Aki-chan’s voice, but then on the other hand plenty of theories come out less impactful than it should be, and then they haven’t even gotten to much of the main point yet, I guess? Of is it this is all then I can just save some time off my life to watch this blandly exciting show? Hmm… *still considering* (Audience: Well…*Aki-chan fans take over* If it’s Aki-chan then it’s fine with us.) Yeah, I agree, haha…

SHOWS
I wonder when MythBusters is back to brighten up this segment… CrazyGod is going well though. Not unlike the people who are uploading to YouTube. Haha…

MUSIC
HELP!!! (Audience: ???) I’m in need of songs! Well, not really. But I ended up listening to plenty of Anime- No I should mention about the “Artist” in Anime, or else you guys think I’m just a Anisong fan. I’m not, surprisingly, as I’ve pretty much rejected half of Oreimo’s ending songs already. But then this season isn’t one of songs, so I’m just listening to random voice actors sing. Well not that they’re bad (it’s the producers anyway), so I decided to give Kitamura Eri-san and Aso Natsuko-chan chances anyway. (Audience: What’s with the ‘-chan’ for Aso Natsuko anyway?) Haha apparently I like the people of the 1990s.. (Audience: Siscon.) Oi.

Also, just as a note, I’ve been seeing Kayano Ai-chan perform quite often too, and have rather recognised her as an artiste. But then I see why she does not have a solo singing career, but her in the Anime is good. They even tricked her into making that pathetic scene in Servant x Service… *laughs*

Sunday Night Report: Entertainment News Weekly, With A Reminder

Hi guys. If I haven’t reminded myself I’ll be preparing to go back to camp now already. Why I forgot? See, this weekend (besides Friday) I’ve been doing many things NOT ASSOCIATED with playing games, like just now I managed to create a VCD preset (used to convert files) that has DVD video size and quality. Look guys, at how many DVD discs you can throw away now…

ANIME
Servant x Service: Wonderful, it seems. Lucy (haha) seems to mind about her name a lot, not knowing that consulting her parents or just changing her name again would avoid her being present in this government industry *looks at Aoi Eir’s name, and laughs* but then that does not matter. Just know that there’s a male colleague that loves to slack around due to his intelligence and efficiency in work, a timid female who ends up listening to aunties chat about their lives, and a really slack female with plenty of hairpins likes to look at Lucy’s voluptuous chest. That pretty much sums up everything, huh. (Audience nods in agreement)
Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi: Decided to give this a try due to Aki-chan acting the main role ^_^ She is a gravekeeper, even as a child, is able to dig 47 graves for the village after the world is abandoned. But then a guy comes to tell her a secret, which is most likely – from the first episode – that she is not the real McCoy. (Oh the vocabulary…) (Audience: |||…) Which brings us to the first topic: What is this cute girl doing in this show anyway? Also, maybe first time listening to two songs from two voice actor’s solo debut. This show might be on to something. I decide next week?
Titans: Well Episode 13.5 is a recap, if you haven’t watched and read every word until here you have saved about 23 minutes of your life. Period.

SHOWS

I picked up another song from the GazettE (remember they sing opening song for Kuroshitsuji II anime) due to its similar style to the one I heard (remember they- yep.), and also the Titans soundtrack, one song. It’s great, really. I don’t mean the English though, the lyricist (which coincidentally sings the song) can come find me if he needs help…

Wednesday Night Report: Entertainment News Weekly

Hi guys. Played too much SimCity until I’m depressed, haha. (Audience: ???) Anyways, here to update about what I watched recently, obviously if it took me this long I must have forgotten about the shows last week. Never mind, let’s do a recap!

ANIME
Oreimo: Last of the season already, because the last three episodes are going to be in a worldwide simulcast, as explained by the official website in English summore. Also, chatting with friends in camp made me find out about a small spoiler about the ending of the show, because he just cannot resist and went to read the last volume of the novel. I shall not divulge anyway (it’s still vague to me anyway), so look forward to the ending, guys. I expect it to be nice, too.
Titans: Eh… good job Eren? Now that he has done his mission and killed quite a bunch of his comrades (thanks the animation team for constantly highlighting this), Captain Levi (I prefer calling by his dialect name, but nvm haha) has agreed to push him into the Recon Squad, probably to monitor his titan form in case anything happens, huh. Good pace for the show, but they should stop with the recaps already. Wasting precious airtime like that…’
RDG: If you guys are retarded, yesh the show ended. Quite nicely. The end.

SHOWS
MythBusters: Not really satisfied with the two myths they chose to revisit. Painting with explosives is really a lame tactic used by idiots (Mr Bean in this case), and splitting a boat somewhat is really a curse. Like “you changed the pole into a not-so-authentic one” kind of curse. Well, if fans are the source, stop this show lor. Haha jkjk, I was just waiting for another epic episode…
CrazyGod: They are doing Journey to the West. It’s just great. And 逸祥? He finally managed to tweak his gag into something… terribly bad. Haha, but funny, really. I like a laugh, so if you guys have any comments swallow it with a cup of warm water. Thanks xD

MANGA
Wow this is a lot to mention.
Binbougami ga!: A few chapters over the weekend and these few days, and impressively leading to the ending. Sadly is I kind of cannot control myself to want to know the ending, but until now it’s pretty obvious, that Momiji and Ichiko have used the tower’s Meta-Fortune Energy (well that’s what they used in the translation…) to make everyone alive by… making them all gods. Yesh. All of them. Seriously…
Tonari no Kashiwagi-san: Eh… *refers to manga* Oh. The couple clarify things between themselves, from where they would go after high school, and any third-party that gets in their way. That way, they can continue to maintain the relationship from going to the negative for… as long as the author likes. I really love to see this become an anime, along with Good Ending. But then… they are just not picked up by the animation companies. Sad case lor, I can only imagine the animation in my mind lor…

SONGS
Yesh forgot about this last week too. Last week came my package:
And I’m happy they came on time, and someone at home managed to receive it (this time round it’s my Dad), and along with some Taiwan singles I ordered only the Sunday before, which is like… four days before it arrived?
Wow you should just see the joy on my face. Anyways, last weekend I took some new songs from Base Ball Bear and again took another Hyadain song. For him (and the Hyadaruko girl), if I don’t pick means it’s bad; But if I do it’s… going to get 5 stars. Soon, soon…

GAMES
Sims 3 Island Paradise: Yeah, just came out a week or two liao but I thought I should mention here. It’s about having your own island, building own resorts, and surfing and boating around like no one’s business. Yesh, very different from the previous expansion packs, and I’m having a whole lot of fun, if not for the occasional save game problems and some technical errors… Eh it’s good, until…
SimCity: Finally got my hands on this game (are you doubting me?), and I must say it’s… quite fun. I spent the last Sunday, today and yesterday night playing as much as I could (eh I had a parade on Monday and they give extra nights out?), spending hours building a specialised city. But as expected I’m better off building a village. Haha as if a village would be able to contribute to the Great Work anyway…

That should cover all bases. I think I need to prepare to go back to… stay in camp a few days before another weekend, yesh?
