Hello. If you guys have not known, I do play The Sims. And if anyone here is sane enough to read this without knowing what this game is (thanks for reading anyway), it’s just a human-life simulation game, plus many other things along the way. Seeing that it’s coming to its FOURTH INSTALLMENT soon in like… half a year’s time (hopefully not delayed again), I’m hyped up to get things started. Why? Mainly because that in this game I have created many characters that I remember from the game, with the basic aspects of the game in place. Among them are:
BEN DANE – THE HAPPY MAN IN MARRIAGE
This has started long ago when I started playing in The Sims 2, where I decided to create a miracle out of the stupid name of his based off one of my teacher’s names (his name is “stupid” in Chinese). Fortunately, he is NOT stupid, as back then in Sims 2 I actually made him go to University, got him a suitable partner, and had two kids after the biggest wedding party I’ve done in the game. Successful as he is, his name ends up to be a joke on his current state.
In The Sims 3, I barely made him successful due to the nature of the game being rather cheat-prone, and actually playing with cheats is more fun compared to playing it properly. So, his plan is suspended. I did get him married and have kids though, up to teenagers. That’s where hell breaks loose, haha.
In The Sims 4, I aim to make him see two generations of people below him, thus making him a grandfather. Really, can’t wait to get to even his marriage.
HENRY EINSTEIN – “THE GODFATHER OF SKILLS” GENIUS
Really. That was his title. His age is inspired from the Old Man, back in Sims 2 where there’s one in the Old Temple.
In The Sims 3, I made him initially a tester to learn and test all of the new things in the game, like travelling to different counteies and earning a fortune purely from hunting treasure.
Some time into playing the character, I noticed the old man is capable for more. So I set a target for him to know every single skill so that (with Logic skill) he can teach any skill to anyone, thus the title as stated above. His life consists of a variety, as he knows Martial Arts, but also is an expert in Nectar Making. He is mainly interested in Inventing, scrapping metal and creating improvised widgets that sell. He can also paint masterpieces that cost a fortune even before he dies. All this is possible because he does not die due to settings in the game and previously has experience in growing all sorts of crops, including the Death Flower and Life Fruits. See I told you, he knows everything.
Unfortunately, due to the knowledge of his skills, his initial abode is full of his works and creations, causing a disaster to happen called “Technical Difficulties”, which means I have not been able to catch a non-corrupt version of his life till date.
In The Sims 4, I intend to revive him again, also as a tester but also hopefully a collector. And if the game still focuses on learning unique skills, then he shall regain his title again, as Godfather of Skills.
I would tell you more, but I guess I’ve run out of screenshots to show you more. This game has made many hours of my life, and I guess you will enjoy it too. Here’s to hope that Sims 4 will be as good as before, if not better. Until next time… no there won’t be a second instalment of this post…
