Sunday Night Report: Entertainment News Weekly

Hi guys, welcome back to the weekly report. Well, this time it’s really “weekly” because I did not come back on Wednesday. So that kinda explains how much I have to watch these few days and the mood swings I have to accept when I watch the shows on different moods. Saying about that, let’s start, shall we?

ANIME
Coppelion: Well… I don’t get why the blogger in RC (Random Curiosity) suddenly quit after this episode, but then maybe he cannot take the pace of the show and the meaning of the show itself. Well I think I still can, so I’ll still watch it. Apparently things are just getting warmed up…
Golden Time: Kinda feel… very edgy about it, apparently. And am more surprised what happened when Banri saw a picture of him with Linda. The author at RC pointed out that more likely is the animation director that is making this show less than satisfying. Hmm, looks like this wouldn’t be such a good show after all…
Nagi no Asukara: On the contrary to the two above, this one is good in prospective. Well at least it did get me interested in the ending song even though I didn’t in the first place. That shows how much it tries to link with the theme songs, which is quite a skill in my opinion.

SHOWS
Shall shelf this segment until I REALLY have shows to watch. Besides CrazyGod. Like MythBusters.

MANGA
BLEACH: So now the Sternritters just are here on a rampage? I get it, but don’t destroy the alternate world, okay? Good luck shinigamis… Oh yesh, and a proposal from Ichigo. Looks like some anti-terrorist conference, huh. Let’s hope he’s really came out with an idea this time round.

MUSIC
The songs recently have made me no choice but to visit the Chinese music industry again, and AGAIN, it’s quite a disappointment. Don’t know why, but it seems it has affected the world, this “inspiration” thing. Also, this week marks the start of the many songs that are going to come, starting from fumika and fhana this week. Which fhana did, but fumika didn’t. Only PV, but doesn’t help. Well mainly because she’s already due for order since I heard both the songs? fhana… let’s just say they’re good as anime artists, yeah? Also got hold of two other singles releasing next week. Ray… I just take the main song? ClariS… I giving them chance, seeing as this particular style fits right in my alley…

For Chinese songs… I picked one. Just because it’s mellow, I’m lonely and want to write a song for myself? Haha it’s called 我为你歌唱。 LOL:

NIce isn’t it? A close-to-perfect imperfect song perhaps…

That’s all I guess. Next up: I intend to write, but since it’s some time already… Nah. Don’t feel like writing. (Audience: Haiz…) I know… Cya.

Sunday Night Report: Entertainment News Weekly Number…

Hi guys, welcome back. If you had been enjoying the latest released chapter of APoL then… good for you. Haiz. Like anyone would be reading it. Unless someone stumbled by this website to see the link and read it because she is bored and then had the same experience as me and we come together potentially becoming friends… haha no that’s the Manga “Evergreen”. LOL

ANIME
COPPELION: Eh my sis says it’s kinda boring, but I say the action’s about to begin. Maybe because I went ahead to find out what happened (roughly only lah so to not spoil the fun) that got me more excited after this episode. Well nice show till now, and looking forward to the release of the theme songs already…
Golden Time: Hmm things turned out to be bad for Kouko and Banri as they land on a club which ended up being a hidden religious organisation (Sounds familiar? Come on, some four-tatami college story would remind you of this…) and they cannot get out of it. Banri tried to save the lot but Kouko stayed back with him and went to escape together? Already eloping at this stage of the story, yeah? Luckily, they found themselves with an acquaintance of Banri, which would most likely complete their escapade. Hopefully. Don’t know the story though; too lazy to read novels, even though I want people to read mine…
Nagi no Asukara: Besides the fact that middle school students from the sea are cute and cool (Hehe I’m not being biased here~), the show is going on quite nicely. Like, the girl from the seas doesn’t even know she’s dating with someone with kids? Or does she…

MANGA
BLEACH: Let’s just say shinigamis get their temporary victory. Besides, Ishida-kun hasn’t even appeared yet to initiate the takeover officially, so… I guess it’s long? Hell yeah it’s long…
Kuroshitsuji: Came out just now, and interesting start to another arc, this time keeping events overseas. I really don’t mind if they end up solving the missions of the world (besides there’s no war yet at that time) because that may just be the high-key event that Yana-chan (author) wants to achieve. Good chapter, and I wonder if Sebastian is even worried about the werewolves…

MUSIC
Nothing much this week. Next week anticipating fhana (Gingitsune Opening, you should’ve listened to their PV on YouTube; It’s called “tiny lamp”) and fumika (calling her “POP SISTER” on her first album is totally appropriate for this singer) and still waiting for an album from Sambomaster and live from Kana-chan and SPECIAL OTHERS. Some people don’t want to help me hand up their yearly reports?

SHOWS
MythBusters; Don’t know then came out the Zombie Special (think is this week bah…), but seeing that it concerns supernatural beings that need humans to ACT as them, I guess it’s not all entirely accurate. Nevertheless, the disguises are astonishing, and the myths are rather popular and relevant. Nice episode. Want more BRAINS! Like, from the production team to release another season. My brain’s getting soggy already…

I guess that’s all. Cya guys next time then. Been preparing a lot of things recently (and playing a lot too), and hoping to get things up to show you guys. Yesh, all the Klassic Note stuff. APoL… I’m a bit stuck. May have to change Chapter 8 quite a bit. We’ll see… until next time!

Sunday Night Report: The Pre-Ordering Fever?!

Welcome back. Just in the previous post I was mentioning about what might happen if I had a hole in my pocket, but then that does not matter. Coincidentally I’ll be listening (and perhaps confirming) the order of FOUR singles, two of which (oops got the number wrong haha) are double A-side singles (ie. two tracks credit songs, when normally it’s only the first one, and typically written as two titles separated by a slash) including miwa from last month:

fumika – Feel It ORIGIN: Has been mentioned a few weeks ago (especially when I’m overseas???) that she’s having a new single… *counting* eight months after her first album. OPINION: Sounds great, especially when I’ve been able to hear full versions on YouTube. JGFI if you want to know more. OVERALL: Must hear, if you heard her before and unlike my sis, doesn’t detest high pitch voices. She sings well man…	angela – ANGEL/Tooku Made ORIGIN: Anime “Coppelion” Theme Songs OPINION: And I thought it’s going to be shabby. Right after the first episode I’ve been spamming the songs for the whole weekend. OVERALL: Once in a long time (like ‘three-years-long’ type of long) epic production, and I’m definitely going to give it a listen.	Horie Yui – Golden Time ORIGIN: Anime “Golden Time” Theme Songs OPINION: The songs attracted me more than the show. Really. I saw down to watch the show as a whole AFTER I listened to the songs. OVERALL: So long as the composers give Hocchan (nickname) this type of catchy Pop songs, I’m sure I’ll be her fan long time ago already…

Well it somehow feels like it’s all girls. That’s because it’s all the guys that write the songs for them! Haha. I mean it, really. Guess it’s just a rush, but then expect a package at my home soon (next month perhaps, this month got exercise again…) (Audience: Even after the Thailand one?) (Yep *sob*) as I’ll talk more of this year’s songs…

Next up: I SWEAR THE NEXT POST THAT APPEARS ON THIS BLOG IS GOING TO BE ENTITLED “APoL Chapter 8”. I promise.

Sunday Night Report: Entertainment News Weekly

This week’s short, also next week, mostly because of the given off on Friday, the off I had to take (it’s the Army) tomorrow and the holiday after that. Which is good news, and I can tell you ahead of time that I WILL FINISH APOL CHAPTER 8 TOMORROW. You may want to camp here to see the post, but it’s not necessary, haha. Been playing and doing a lot of things up for Klassic Note (if no one knows it’s the official name I gave last year for the song awards I hold myself, lol), and the computer has not been working up to speed. Haiz. Needs an upgrade already?

ANIME
This week onwards all new season shows, those you see last week will continue, and I reviewed two other new shows, denoted with a * before the title.
Coppelion: An episode… very simply put. Somehow even the Random Curiosity writer doesn’t feel for the episode too. Quote from ‘Zephyr’:
“Alas, it’s a development that ends up both a hit and a miss in general…”
So it seems that next episode would be more interesting, at least in development. Also found out that it’s only half season (ie. half of typical 24 episodes, only lasting three months), so perhaps this show isn’t as catching as the Titans show? Hmm…
Golden Time: The latest episode’s interesting, and got me into this show, finally. I mean, more of the romance part. And what’s more interesting (and most likely driving me to watch) is next episode, where Banri spends three days two nights with Kouko? Damn him…
Nagi no Asukara: Hmm talking about how one gets banished off sea if wanting to be with someone on the land. Well there must be a way to remove that kind of shedding skin? And on a side note; Now Manaka-chan wants her fish back, haha…

*Gingitsune: Eh… even though the Opening Song is what attracts me to the show, and looking at RC (Random… yesh) reviews it looks interesting, like Kannagi, if you watched before. But watching it is of a different impression, as it’s more like dealing with a small kid’s problems, and I don’t foresee any action coming. So… not watching, but the Opening Song – “tiny lamp” by Anime band “fhana” with the Anime cover would let me remember this show already… PV’s below!

*Galilei Donna: A disappointment, and also not listening to negoto’s new single liao. Not that the family story deters me off, but the sci-fi (did I say ROBOTS??) is kinda getting on my nerves. Besides, the mood is a little different off what I expected… So… no. It shall be the three shows above that I shall watch this season…

MythBusters rumoured to be having a Zombie Special soon, don’t know when though…
CrazyGod: It’s jokes all over, really.

MANGA
BLEACH: Now KUBO IS TRYING TO HOLLOWFY ALL THE SHINIGAMI CAPTAINS OF GOTEI 13? Somewhat this is rather f***ed up liao… But on another note, this might be the ONLY way to defeat the whole bunch of spirit-arrow-shooters, which actually do not use those powers themselves. Well see what the next chapter says lor…
Tonari no Kashiwagi-san: Does Yuuto really want to know about Kotone’s future prospects THAT MUCH? Well it’s a rather boring chapter anyway. Hope to see the Manga2.5 adaptation soon though, if you didn’t know people are doing it up already…

MUSIC
I guess this is the topic?
Well not much this week for new releases, but it’s sad to be waiting for two albums that don’t come. Haiz. One is Sambomaster’s, and the other – which I’m more looking forward to and deciding to pre-order – is SPECIAL OTHER’s Budoukan Live CD (and DVD of course). The PV I downloaded featuring a song I’ve not heard before last week “IDOL” is already now in this year’s list. So where’s the uploads, people? Also took Kalafina (from last week) and another song from Aki-chan (which makes it ‘eligible’ for pre-order).

I’ll only see a (whole hell of a) lot more songs two weeks from now (next week no new songs) due to the watching of the new season Anime. If you need a head start go check out fumika (just below) and fhana (just above this) and a whole lot more next month. Things will only get more interesting from here…
